Shared Values

Share of Lancaster, Inc is a non-profit dedicated to serving families who have suffered the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, still birth or early infant death.  This affects more that  1500 Lancaster County families each year.  Share of Lancaster was started over 30 years ago to provide services to these families in the midst of such a tragic loss.

Compelling Vision

We offer a variety of services at no cost to help families heal.  We have three different support groups: early pregnancy loss (less than 16 weeks), late pregnancy loss (16 weeks or older) and pregnancy after loss support (PALS). A phone information line is available as are comprehensive bereavement support materials. One of our most comforting benefits is a facilitation of bi-monthly SHARE burials of these babies in a common service for their families.
